This special issue addresses the politics of suffering from multiple perspectives and while focusing especially on the politics of Palestinian suffering, it also interrogates the institutionally-sanctioned forms of violence, suffering and repression that continue to inform the politics of other (post)colonial nation states and that underpin concepts of international justice more generally.
Tony Burke, the managing editor of borderlands, describes this special issue as both rich in content and very important and expresses a special thanks to the editors and authors for their efforts.
